024: Album Dive: Testament The New Order
Thursday Dec 05, 2019
Thursday Dec 05, 2019
There are some albums in the annals of Thrash metal history that are considered “art”: timeless, heavy, classic and almost perfect. Testament released one of those pieces of art and it is known as “The New Order”; one of THE finest thrash releases of one of THE finest years of thrash: 1988!!!
JOIN US as we get into the “eerie” space in thrash that Testament inhabits with The New Order. We’ll go deep down into the mystical shamanistical rabbit hole that gave us (and again, we really can’t stress this enough) one of THE finest moments of thrash metal EVER!!

Thursday Nov 28, 2019
Thursday Nov 28, 2019
As metal nerds, we don’t just listen to the music; we dig. Forever digging: always searching for intriguing new information about our favorite metal bands (like the kinda stuff you might see on Metal Jeopardy if it were a thing).
On this Metal Nerdery Listicle (yes, you read that correctically), we run down some of UltimateClassicRock.com’s (UCR) “100 Metal facts you might not have known”. (NOTE: there were several that we already knew but many that we just learned about today that were completely fascinating.)
JOIN US as we bounce around and talk about UCR’s “100 Metal Facts You Might Not Have Known” list and chew the fat, as well as discuss some of our own personal metal factoids that weren’t on the list and (as always) indulge in some general Metal Nerdery hysterious hilarity that will leave you feeling just like you would at the end of a Pantera show: satiated and happy.

So pour yourself a cup of coffee, put some booze (maybe even some cereal) in it and put on your cape as we fly into the all-star stratosphere of metaldom: Metal Supergroups.
